Northern Michigan Casinos with Golf Courses
Although Turtle Creek Casino & Hotel doesn’t have a golf course, our sister property Grand Traverse Resort and Spa does! Getting there is just a short (and free) 10-minute shuttle ride away. Keep reading to learn more about your golf and casino options when you visit Traverse City in Northern Michigan.
Golfing at Grand Traverse Resort
After you hop on the complimentary shuttle from the casino, you’ll be whisked away to Grand Traverse Resort and Spa for your tee time.
The Resort is a well-known golfing destination and has three distinct courses to choose from that offer varying levels of challenge:
- The Bear
- The Bear was ranked as the 18th toughest 18-holes in America, according to Golf Digest. This scenic course offers everything you want, and maybe a little more.
- Spruce Run
- This is the original golf course at The Resort. These 18 holes are more forgiving than the Bear and 13 of them include a water feature.
- The Wolverine
- Flexible and versatile—these 18 holes take advantage of the Resort’s diverse environment, which includes wetlands, rolling hills, and hardwood forests.

Golfing, Gambling, and More

When you visit Grand Traverse Resort and Casino Hotel, you don’t have to decide between golfing or gambling, you can do both!
