Turtle Creek Casino is proud to present Traverse City Horse Shows

This spring and summer, discover the Traverse City Horse Shows at Flintfields Horse Park, just two miles from Turtle Creek Casino via complimentary shuttle.

Now in its sixth year, the Great Lakes Equestrian Festival has been a staple in Traverse City since 2015, when it took the place of Horse Shows by the Bay, which ran from 2007 to 2014. The 2020 season includes six weeks of exciting equestrian competition from July 1 to August 9, and visitors and locals alike will gather to watch the incredible, internationally renowned festival live in Northern Michigan.

Two other special events take place this year. We are pleased to present Traverse City Spring Horse Shows (June 9–21), and the North American Youth Championship for Jumping and Dressage (August 4–9) is sponsored by our sister property, Grand Traverse Resort and Spa.

The horse shows are home to jumpers, hunters, and equitation with riders from around the country competing for prestige and prize money. Some of the world’s top equestrian athletes, including many Olympians, will be competing. Athletes and horses travel to Northern Michigan from multiple continents, countries, and states around the globe.

In response to COVID-19, spectators will not be allowed to visit Flintfields Horse Park to watch the competitions this year. This being said, we invite you to watch the live stream on traversecityhorseshows.com.
