CASH IN ON KINDNESS

MAKE A CHANGE WITH YOUR SPARE CHANGE

At Turtle Creek Casino & Hotel we believe in giving back to our community in every way. Cash in on Kindness is more than a program. It’s a movement of compassion that empowers our guests to make a difference right here in Northern Michigan.

Making Change, Making an Impact

Each month a new organization is selected. Whether it’s a shelter, food bank, youth program or community center, we’re committed to getting funds into the hands of those who need it.

When you visit our casino, you’ll notice designated bins at our front entrance where you can donate spare change or TITO tickets.

Every penny counts and all contributions go directly to the charity selected for the month, benefiting our local communities.

This Month’s Charity:

Conservation Resource Alliance

The Conservation Resource Alliance was originally established in 1968 as part of a nationwide network of Resource Conservation and Development Councils. Since its inception nearly half a century ago, CRA has emerged as one of the premier conservation nonprofit corporations in the state. The organization proudly serves 15 counties in northwest lower Michigan.

CRA’s RiverCare Program was created to guarantee that natural resource professionals maintain a consistent and prioritized action plan for each river in the organization’s region. The program allows for CRA to find and repair physical problems before they become worse, and maintain efficient, coordinated local river committees. These committees, comprised of agency, resident, and interest group representatives, allow for streamlined communication and representation.

Northwest Lower Michigan’s unique and stunning combination of rivers, streams, forests, and wildlife attracts thousands of seasonal residents and millions of visitors each year. Anyone who resides, vacations, or conducts business in the region is an inextricable part of our community.

Our community must realize that the quality of the area’s scenery and resources is not automatically preserved or enhanced. The Conservation Resource Alliance exists to ensure our pristine resources are around for generations to come.
