Making Change, Making an Impact
Each month a new organization is selected. Whether it’s a shelter, food bank, youth program or community center, we’re committed to getting funds into the hands of those who need it.
When you visit our casino, you’ll notice designated bins at our front entrance where you can donate spare change or TITO tickets.
Every penny counts and all contributions go directly to the charity selected for the month, benefiting our local communities.
This Month’s Charity:
Traverse City Young Marines
Throughout the month of February, Turtle Creek Casino, Leelanau Sands Casino, & Crystal Shores Casino will be placing bins conveniently located at the front entrances and next to ATMs/cash out machines. There will be signage to encourage guests to donate their TITO tickets and other monetary donations to this month’s cause.
Our February Cash in on Kindness recipient is the Traverse City chapter of the Young Marines.
The Young Marines is a national non-profit 501(c)(3) youth education and service program for boys and girls, age eight through high school graduation. Our mission is to strengthen the lives of America’s youth by promoting the mental, moral, and physical development of young people. The program emphasizes character building, leadership, and a commitment to living a healthy, drug-free lifestyle. Young Marines learn the value of discipline, service to others, and teamwork through hands-on activities, community service, and leadership training.
